Select Coverage
The select plan is a comprehensive full coverage policy covering the most important parts of your vehicle. This plan provides maximum peace of mind by protecting you against major repair bills and is ideal for newer vehicles.
Engine (Gas, Diesel, and Rotary); Turbo Charger; Transmission (automatic and manual); Transaxle; Transfer Unit 4X4; Drive Axles; Steering; Electrical; Front/Rear Suspension; Brakes; Anti-Lock Brakes; Air Conditioning; Cooling; Fuel; Electronics (computer sensors, etc.); Sport Utility; Electrical High Tech; Electric Sliding Door; Audio Visual; GPS (factory installed).
Please note that optional surcharges do apply for any of the following: Turbo Charger; Transfer Unit 4X4; Sport Utility; Electrical High Tech; Electric Sliding Door; Audio Visual; and GPS.

Engine Coverage
The Engine Plan is ideal coverage for older vehicles because it protects against expensive engine repair bills more common in high mileage vehicles. This coverage will pay to repair or replace covered engine parts. Although not as extensive as some of our other plans, the Engine Plan provides maximum peace of mind at minimal expense while protecting against unexpected and very costly engine repair bills.
(1) All internally lubricated parts of the Vehicle's engine, including pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crank shaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearing, camshaft and camshaft bearings, timing chain and timing gears, intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, guides, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, hydraulic lifters and rocker arm shafts, and (2) the engine block and cylinder heads provided the breakdown of the engine block or cylinder heads is caused by the Breakdown of part listed in (1) above (does not include any part other than what is supplied in Long Block Assembly).

Powertrain Coverage
The powertrain of a vehicle includes the engine, transmission, and drive axles. Not only do these components sustain high levels of wear and tear during normal use of a vehicle - they are also some of the most expensive components to repair. The Powertrain coverage is highly recommended for anyone with a newer vehicle that may still be under manufacturer's warranty and are also planning to keep/drive the vehicle after the original warranty expires. Routine maintenance and repairs are not covered.

Powertrain Enhanced Coverage
The Power Train of a vehicle includes the engine, transmission, and drive axles. Not only do these components sustain high levels of wear and tear during normal use of a vehicle - they are also some of the most expensive components to repair. The Powertrain Plus includes everything in the Powertrain plan with the addition of Electrical, and Air Conditioning.
Engine (Gas or Diesel), Water Pump, Transmission, Turbo/Supercharger, Drive Axle, Optional Enhanced Coverage to include basic electrical and air conditioning.

- No Cost payment plan: Royal offers flexible and affordable payment plans with its Extended Service Protection plans.
- Car Rental: If your vehicle is being repaired for a covered component, you are covered for a rental car.
- Roadside Assistance: Roadside assistance benefits covers towing, tire change, jump starting a dead battery, and fuel delivery (not including the cost of the fuel itself).
- Lockout Assistance: If you loose, break, or accidentally lock your keys in your car, you are covered for a licensed locksmith to unlock your vehicle.
- Trip Interruption Protection: If you are stranded due to the failure of a covered component, and you are more than 100 miles from your home, you are covered up to $75 a day for overnight stays and meals.
- Transferable Coverage: If you sell your vehicle, you can transfer the contract to the next owner, increasing the value of your vehicle.
- National Coverage: Your coverage is available in both the United States and Canada, so it's available while traveling at any time. Call our claims number while on the road for prior approval.
- Unlimited number of claims: There is no limit to the number of claims you can make for your vehicle.

Companies that specialize in Extended Service Plans tend to offer the most complete, reliable, and competitively priced coverage when compared to most policies sold by car dealers. Yes, you may be covered under the manufacturer's warranty today but if you are planning to keep your vehicle beyond the manufacturer's warranty coverage you can save money in the long term: the sooner you extend your coverage, the newer your vehicle, the lower your rates will be. Extended service plans also offers additional coverage and benefits beyond what's offered on your manufacturer's warranty. Qualifying for credit is based upon the purchase price, your income, down payment/trade-in, and credit score - not your Extended Service Plan purchase. Be weary of the dealer that tells you otherwise. "Mechanical breakdowns" are often considered defective parts or workmanship whereas "wear and tear" includes parts that are known to wear out and need replacing over time. The best coverage offers wear and tear; this is especially needed for older vehicles. Cheaper is not better when it comes to most extended warranties. Extended service plans come in all shapes and sizes and not all might be a match for your vehicle and needs. No service plan exempts you from performing the routine maintenance and repairs necessary to keep your vehicle in good working condition. Regular oil/fluid changes, brakes, tires, and minor components all require regular service as outlined in the Owner's Manual or other parts and components will wear and break before their time. Failure to properly maintain/service your vehicle may void coverage.
